Lots of dogs and cats are waiting to be adopted at the ?Yolo County Animal Shelter, 2640 E. Gibson Road in Woodland. Among them is Remus (No. 102364), a ?3-year-old neutered male white German shepherd mix dog. Also hoping for a good home is Maui (No. 102291), a 1-year-old spayed female buff-colored domestic ?short-haired cat. Fees are charged for licensing and ?spaying or neutering, if necessary. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays (closed for lunch from 1 to 2 p.m. each day).
