Before everyone lived and breathed Halo and Modern Warfare, there was only one shooter that had people truly addicted. Counterstrike was the best shooter of a decade ago, and the fact that it?s still actively played today says a lot about its quality.
The image in particular (via reddit) goes above and beyond to represent the era. DDR was all the rage in 2002 (I lost ten pounds that summer dancing up a storm in my basement), and the Kristin Kreuk poster just makes it. She was my desktop background through probably all four years of high school.
Good times, good times.
